Be warned this might contain spoilers

The Film started of slow and full of the same stuff that apparantly filled the office (my other half actually liked that show). The basic construct was set out with one of the main characters lying to his wife about an apartment he had just bought (he intended it to be a love nest for his “girlfriend” on the side) when a Air conditioning unit falls from above and smashes to the ground. Luckily for him he has stepped back out of the way, unluckily for him is the fact he’s just stepped infront of an oncoming bus. Wham Dead.

Next we cut to Ricky’s character, Dr Bertram Pincus D.D.S., a Dentist who is not a people person at all. I would go so far as to say a complete Arsehole of a degenerate who’s value of self importance dwarfs the whole cast, but that’s just the impression I got.
Apparently, he goes for an operation (I’ll spare you the details on this) and dies for 7 Minutes (Just under). The result of which leaves him with the ability to see and hear ghosts.New York being New York, we find that the city is full of them and they are all excited that he can see them, he of course isn’t. He has equal disdain for them.

In steps our bus killed dead guy, with a story of various woes of how his wife’s new boyfriend is not good for her. With promises of controlling the other spirits/ghosts and getting them to leave our “lovely” Dr Pincus alone, he convinces Pincus to split up his wife and boyfriend.

Ricky builds the character well that you feel that you want to despise Dr Pincus with all of your vigor but as the story progresses he grows on you, you look for the nice points.

This story is really about how people can go about their daily lives with as little interaction with people as they want, but without some interaction, then they will just end up being (and I quote partially here) a “Fucking prick”

The Film was reasonably good but was left wanting. Like drinking and still being thirsty when you finish.
